Atempo, European leader in data protection and data management solutions, is proud to sign a partnership with a Norwegian specialist in designing, implementing and managing High Performance Computing (HPC) systems

With a solid expertise in open source HPC software, the company provides high performance storages based on the GPFS and Lustre filesystems. Specialized in developing HPC solutions for hardware, cooling, power or network connectivity, as well as for the software and programming environments, their customized solutions meet the needs for storage, archiving and backup.

"The high flexibility of Atempo's Miria Data Management solution can be easily integrated into HPC workflows using simple scripts or when more advanced integration is required with an application, leveraging fully documented REST APIs in order to provide archiving, backup or data movement,” reports Svein Nilssen, at Alpha System.

“Recent evolutions to Miria for Lustre platforms make it simple and fast to spot new and changed data over petabytes of storages: it’s a real asset for managing customer’s data between heterogeneous storages. Volume and big numbers are not an obstacle and Miria makes it simple to move, store and migrate data at a petabyte scale,” adds Christophe Darras, Head of North Europe at Atempo
